Well, in our district, we are also unsure of what will happen next year. With the AZ legislature still undecided on the fate of all-day Kindergarten, we don't even know how many teachers we will need. A teacher in my district actually called the department of Ed. and was told they wouldn't decide on all-day Kinder until June or July! How are districts supposed to make staffing decisions in the meantime? As far as we know, we'll keep special areas and most of our coaching positions, but we're not sure how many paraprofessionals we'll be able to keep, which is very scary. They are all wonderful and good friends, too. I'm interested to know what is going on in other districts, too.
